About us
Vilson Knitting Crafts is a manufacture on the island of Rab that has been operating for 50 years. Grandpa Slavko started it over 50 years ago and a true family business grew out of his hobby. It is grandpa Slavko who has transferred his love for ropes to his son Ivan, and both were employed at Rijeka’s rope factory. Ivan’s son Siniša continues the family business that is becoming a true family tradition.
Besides the standard demand for small boats, Vilson Knitting Crafts is also engaged in developing fenders of larger dimensions (up to 5 m). We produce ropes for different purposes other than specified fenders: nets, pilot ladders, decorative knots, rugs, and we also rope bottles and carboys. Depending on the purpose of the ropes, we use natural and synthetic materials in our production.
In 50 years of our existence, we have done business with the Croatian Navy, various companies, port authorities and have participated in Rabfjera for years. We are always available to our customers. Our ropes are characterized by outstanding quality and each rope is made with special care. All of our products are handmade and each work is unique!
